Description

This building was designed by the architect Eul-ho Suh of SUH Architects. POSCO A&C reflected the permanent drainage system not included in design; it reduced risks caused by buoyancy during construction. Also, the company installed a large sump in the basement with this system so that underground water collected can be provided to nearby ponds and plants or trees used for landscaping in drought season. Changed the design of Ferro deck structure with 3m long span truss to deep deck structure with 6m long span truss to reduce the amounts of steel frames and cost through VE. The deep deck structure good in reduced impulse sounds increased not only users’ but also client’s satisfaction with the buildings.
