Description

[Design] In conjunction with the Yeongjong and Cheongna districts, the Songdo District is one of the Incheon Free Economic Zones (IFEZ) that are developed as Asia’s economic hubs. This large-scale & high-tech research complex fosters POSCO’s image as a global company and footholds for sustainable growth based on an intensive state-of-the-art R&D function. A new construction method with a new steels is applied to an eco-friendly design for a comfortable research environment and a sustainable complex, based on design and expertise as a steel company to enhance the status of the international research and development complex. [CM] Applied Fast Track by putting the process management specialist for the entire project; Adjusting design and construction work with the review (design and construction interface); reviewing economic feasibility in a construction step with VE; analyzing construction expenses with the trade-off study on construction cost (project expense management); and fostering Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Business Relationship Management (BRM).
